"Norseman plays Fantasymetal, long live the world of fantasy and its all dimensions!"

Norseman from Finland is the original alchemist of Fantasy Metal. When Norseman was born, it was one of the first bands carrying the flag of "Fantasy Metal".

The tale of the band began when Epe, Frank, Pete and J.Tikander, Hard Rock/Heavy Metal players since early teenage, started to drift away from the speedmetal. First, the only real difference to the music they had earlier created, was the lyrics, now based to "Legendos", a table drawer fantasytale written by Epe. Soon they had few songs ready and recorded their first demo at Pink Noise studio. This happened around 1995. From that session started their "tradition" to go to the studio every Easter.

Year later they recorded 4 new songs at Peacemakers Studios. Jaska had joined the band, and with the keyboards songs definitely started to sound like "Fantasymetal".

THE DEBUT album "Lightbringer" contains Easter sessions of 1996 and 1997. Lightbringer album is out NOW!!!
